The green ruins and paved streets of Dion beneath the peaks of Mount Olympus under a clear sky

Dion Tickets — Skip-the-Line Timed Entry

Full admission to the Archaeological Park of Dion · your chosen date and hourly slot

This is full admission to the Archaeological Park of Dion — the sanctuaries of Zeus Olympios, Demeter and Isis, the paved Roman streets, the Villa of Dionysus mosaic, the Roman baths and the two theatres — together with the Archaeological Museum of Dion in the nearby village. We reserve your entry for the single date and hourly slot you choose and send it to your phone, so you walk straight past the ticket-office queue to the gate.

Every booking includes the elements below — handled by our concierge team before your visit and confirmed at the gate.

• Dion entry — the full archaeological park: the sanctuaries of Zeus Olympios, Demeter and Isis, the paved Roman streets, the Villa of Dionysus mosaic, the Roman baths and the two theatres • Archaeological Museum of Dion — in the nearby village and included in the ticket • Timed-entry ticket — reserved for the date and hourly slot you choose • 5-minute audio history sent before your visit • Booking handled in your own language

Who this is for

This is standard full admission, ideal for independent travellers who want to skip the on-the-day queue and have everything handled. The standard ticket needs no passport or name. The operator sets its own reduced and free categories (for example for children and certain EU visitors), which may require ID at the gate — contact our team if you think one applies to you. Note that Mount Olympus itself is a separate natural landscape and national park, explored independently from Litochoro, not part of this ticket.

On the day

Dion is about 90 km southwest of Thessaloniki, in the village of Dion at the foot of Mount Olympus, near Katerini and Litochoro — reachable by train or bus to Katerini or Litochoro then a bus or taxi, or by car in about an hour and a quarter. Show your mobile ticket at the gate within your booked hour and walk the sanctuaries and paved streets before the coaches arrive, then finish in the village museum a short walk away. It's a green, spring-fed park with more shade than most Greek sites, but the ground can be damp and uneven, so bring sturdy shoes, water and, in summer, sun protection and insect repellent, and allow about 1.5 to 2 hours. If you have more time, pair Dion with a drive or walk on Mount Olympus from Litochoro.

Frequently asked

Is my ticket valid any time?
It's a timed-entry ticket — you choose your date and hourly slot when you book and we reserve that slot for you, shown on your ticket. Entry is valid for a single admission during that hour.
Is it skip-the-line?
Your entry is reserved before you arrive, so you go straight to the gate instead of queuing at the ticket office.
Is the site museum included?
Yes — the Archaeological Museum of Dion is in the nearby village, a short walk from the park, and covered by your ticket. Mount Olympus itself is a separate natural landscape, not a ticketed part of this.
How do I receive it?
As a mobile ticket by email once confirmed — nothing to print.
How long should I allow?
About 1.5 to 2 hours for the park and a further half hour for the village museum, plus travel and any time on Mount Olympus.
